Setup in Cyber Recruiter

Page Location: Admin > Job Boards > DICE

Before using this integration, an account with DICE is necessary and DICE will issue specific fields which identify the file as being related to the specific company. Once the company has been established with DICE the next step is to set up the connection in Cyber Recruiter.

  1. General Tab
    1. Change the "Enabled?" field to "Yes" and highlight the names of the user who will be allowed to submit jobs to DICE.
    2. Select the "Upload Type".
      1. Setting this equal to 'Complete Replace' will remove all existing requisitions with DICE and post only the jobs sent in the file.
      2. Setting this equal to 'Add to existing' will add the jobs in the submission file to the currently posted jobs.
    3. Enter the Recruiter's Name which should be posted.  Entering {RecruterName} will pull the name of the recruiter connected to the position.
    4. Enter the Recruiter's Email which should be posted.  Entering {RecruterEmail} will pull the name of the recruiter connected to the position.

    5. Use the "Extra Text" field to post information which should be sent with EVERY job.

  2. Accounts
    1. At least one account must be set up before submitting information to DICE.  However, if multiple accounts exist with DICE, then additional accounts can be defined.
                          Field  Value
Name Used as an identification in Cyber Recruiter
DICE ID Defined by DICE (Group ID)
Apply Link Optional – use this field if Job Seekers should apply online instead of the default (via email.) A value in this field ignores the Email value below. The “apply for this job” button will be linked to this URL starting with http://
Email To Default to use if not using the Apply Link
User ID Defined by Dice (User ID for sending jobs is different from the login used to login to the site) It is an extra feature and manually set up by the Dice Account Representative.
Password Defined by Dice (Password for sending jobs is different from the password used to login to the site) It is an extra feature and manually set up by the Dice Account Representative.
  1. Field Mappings
    1. Leave all items on this tab set to "DICE Page" UNLESS there is a field already in use inside the requisition which contains the exact information.  For example, if one of the Organizational Levels already is being used to track the state for which the job is located, select this organizational level from the drop-down list.  Instead of filling the information in on the DICE page of the requisition, the data will be pulled automatically from the information already entered for the requisition.
    2. NOTE: The information MUST match EXACTLY to what DICE is expecting.  For example, even if  Tax Term is a field that is captured by a field in the requisition, if the codes does not match what DICE is expecting than the file will be rejected by DICE.
    3. Press the disk icon to save changes to the security and mapping before moving forward.
  2. Job Description
    1. Use the icon to define which sections of the job description captured in Cyber Recruiter will be sent to DICE.  Available fields include all the tabs stored on the Job Description page as well as any notes entered.
    2. When adding or editing, define the order in which the sections will be shown by using the "Order" field.
    3. Press the disk icon to save changes to the job description mapping and return to the main setup page.

Apply Now Re-direct

Use the Apply Now field in the Account setup to provide a re-direct link back to the main careers page as part of the posting.  If this field is used, at the bottom of the job description an HTML link will appear and send applicants back to the careers page to continue the application process.  The instructions below help to define this feature.

If this feature is being used, it is highly suggested that 'Allow Unencrypted URL' be set to Yes under Admin > Website > Careers > Actions tab.  This will allow for an applicant to be re-directed back to the specific job for which he/she was interested instead of having to find the job again on the main careers site.

Link Does What Allow Unencrypted URL
http://www.YourSite.com/Careers.aspx?rf=DICE Directs applicant to corporate website careers page. Fills referral source. Yes or No
http://www.YourSite.com/Careers.aspx?rf=DICE&req={Req} Directs applicant to job description page for the requisition they were viewing. Fills referral source. Yes

1. Website – Insert your website here (For example http://www.visibilitysoftware.com)

2. Career Page –
/Careers.aspx? – use this career page if using the out-of-box module

3. rf=DICE
These are being referenced in the Referral Source Code Table so this MUST match something stored in this code table

4. ?req={Req} – Pulls Applicants back to the specific requisition they are viewing on the Job Board to complete view the Job Description on your website and to apply
