The page includes of 4 text boxes designed to communicate information out to the applicant during the login process.

.... Login Failed ...

"In the box below, enter the message you'd like applicants to receive if their login fails"

This message displays when the user enters either an invalid user ID or password which cannot be validated.  Generally the instructions include steps for re-trying the user ID/password combination.

.... Login Page ....

"In the box below, enter the message you'd like to appear on the Self Service Login Page"

This message appears above where the applicant/employee will enter the credentials for logging into the system.  Generally this instructions will include steps for logging in as well as what to do if the applicant/employee has forgotten his/her login information.  

... Forgotten Login Email ...

"Enter the Subject and Text of the email you'd like to be sent whenever an applicant has his/her login information emailed."

This message box contains the wording which will be sent via email when the password is reset for the applicant/employee.  The first text box provide is the Subject line of the email.  The second box provided should contain information requested by the applicant / employee.  Merge fields are available under the text box so the email can be customized to the individual who is making the request.

  Application Date Date the applicant applied to the company  
  Applicant Number Unique ID connected to this applicant.  Include this field if the login for the Self Service references this field.

  ... First Name   Include this field to personalize the email.
  ... Name in Last,First format Example: Smith, Betty  
  ... Name in First Last format Example: Betty Smith  
  ... Street Address  
  ... City, State, Zip    
  ... Home Phone    
  ... Email Address Will populate with whichever field is set as the primary email address in the applicant's demographics page. Include this field if the login for the Self Service references this field.
  SS Login Self Service login field stored on the Application page.  This is NOT necessarily the field used to log into the system.  To be sure of the field used to log into the Self Service module, check the General tab. Include this field if the login for the Self Service references this field. 
  Applicant SSN    
  PIN Password the applicant/user will use to log into the system. Include this field since that is the purpose of the email.
  App Misc. (1 - 20)    
  Current Date    
  Current Time    
  Company Name   Include this field to brand the email.
  Link to Corporate  Benefits This link will redirect the applicant/employee to the corporate benefits page.  
  Link to Self Service Login This link will redirect the applicant/employee back to login page for the self service module. Include this field as a quick link back to the login page.
  Link to First Careers Page This link will redirect the applicant/employee back to the first page of the careers site.  

 

... More than one record ...

"In the box below, enter the message you'd like an applicant to receive if there is more than one record found for his/her email address."

This message appears if the applicant/employee has forgotten his/her credentials AND clicks on the link to have the information submitted via email address AND there is more than one applicant in the system with the same email address. This message should include an explanation as to what has occurred as well as the steps to take to get further support.
