Abila Setup

Need Help on this Topic? Email Support

If you are interested in setting up or changing an integration, please reach out to our support team (productsupport@visibilitysoftware.com) for assistance.

This integration is to the HR Module of Abila via the Employee Web Services.  Both modules must be in place before the integration can be established.

This link connects Abila and Cyber Recruiter via a web service. Setup is necessary on the server which hosts Abila prior to enabling the connection inside Cyber Recruiter. Part of this setup includes knowing the URL to the Abila system and to the web service used to pass data to the database.

This integration works with the On Premise and Cloud version of Abila.  There are slightly different setup options (noted below) depending on which version of Abila is being used.

The following information is written to be understood by someone with web integration experience.

Administrative Configuration

This process outlines how to pass new hires from Cyber Recruiter to Abila via the live-link web service set up in the previous step. To configure the Abila link, in Cyber Recruiter go to Admin> Links> Pre-defined>Abila.

If using MIP Cloud, the URL will be https://ews.mip.com/CyberRecruiter.asmx

If you are using the cloud version of Abila, enter the OU code issued by Abila.

If you are using the on-premise version of Abila, leave this field blank.

On the Security tab, choose which Cyber Recruiter users should have access to the related pages in Cyber Recruiter.

Overwrite Default Codes

Use this section if the codes for Department, Location, Job Code and/or Processing Group do not match values between Cyber Recruiter and Abila.  Note, the codes must match exactly (even case sensitivity) for the integration to pass the values correctly.

The page will have a tab for each type of code.  Clicking ' Add new Record ' on this page will add the code in Cyber Recruiter to the appropriate area.  If the goal is to update the value being sent to Abila, click the pencil icon to edit the value. Click the check-mark to save the updated value.  Note that ONLY the Abila value can be updated.

If the Abila value is blank, the system will use the code established in Cyber Recruiter.

Press the back arrow to return to the Abila Setup page.
