Deltek Vision

The transfer process (Cyber Recruiter to Vision ) replaces the New Hire Action in Vision. When an applicant needs to be ‘hired’ into Vision, this is done one at a time from the Applicants > Hire into Deltek Vision process in Cyber Recruiter.

Step 1: Find the Applicant

If you are using the option to ‘Process New Hire’ you can skip this step as the system will already know which individual you are working with.

From the Applicant’s file, select Vision page.  

Step 2: Enter Employee Identifiers

Enter the Employee Number (unique identifier for Vision) as well as the Hire Date.  Both fields are required.

Step 3: Verify/Complete Information

Demographics

Make any necessary changes to the demographics information that has been captured by Cyber Recruiter.  First Name and Last Name are required fields on this page. Changing information on this page DOES NOT update the demographics page in Cyber Recruiter.  So, if the information should be changed in both locations, then be sure to go back to the applicant's demographic page to make the change as well.

 

Remember that the email address that is being passed over to Vision should be the new corporate email address if emailing from Vision is an organizational practice.

Step 4: Send Information

Press the Save Changes button in the system.  Click the link "Hire Into Vision" to push the data over to Vision. The information can now be located in Vision. All data related to the transfer is saved in Cyber Recruiter.

Education

The integration expects that the degree is set up as a code but that majors and schools are NOT driven by code tables.  If this is not the case, the settings in System Setup need to be updated and codes need to be entered for degrees (it not already done).

The integration sends over the descriptions for the Degree (based on the code entered), the Major (as it is typed into the page), School (based on how it is typed in) and the graduation year.

 

Skills

The integration sends over the skills code and description.  The code related to the skill MUST be the same in Cyber Recruiter and Vision in order for the information to pass correctly.
