Evaluate Applicants From the Req List

The following steps will help you to evaluate applicants from the Req List

  1. Click on the Req List and locate the requisition
  2. Click the hyperlink (number) in the Assigned Applicants column
  3. You can set a Filter or Group Setting to limit the new applicant list
  4. Click on the applicant’s resume and/or Profile to evaluate the applicant
  5. Click the Change Status icon after each applicant’s evaluation to indicate his/her next step
    1. Evaluator selects New Status from the available list
    2. “As of” defaults to system date, but may be changed
    3. Leaves the check boxes  to Email Recruiter or Email Hiring Manager unchecked
    4. Clicks “Save Changes
  6. If an applicant is not qualified you can email the applicant the “2-Thanks but No Thanks” email
  1. Click the box to the left of the applicant(s) name and click the Email icon
  2. Choose to “Create” email “by choosing an existing correspondence template.”
  3. Click Continue
  4. From the drop down list select “2-Thanks but No Thanks”
  5. Click Preview
  6. Update the email if needed.
  7. Click Continue
  8. After previewing the finished email – Click Send
